The Pandorica Opens (Spoilers, LOTS)

Holy crap! That was an excellent episode. There's something that bugged me though, and that's the whole "Only the Doctor can fly the TARDIS," bit that was introduced minutes before the episode closed. I do not for a minute believe that River Song is an incarnation of the Doctor. If that's so, why would she die at the end of Forest of the Dead, why didn't she throw herself into the crack in Flesh and Stone? If she were indeed the Doctor, then her statement about being a complicated space time event stands. The theory just doesn't hold water for me. Wibbly wobbly timey wimey is not an acceptable answer.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode though, lots of villains, and Matt Smith was rather excellent. He gave that speech that sent all the villains scrambling, only to have to have it turn out that they weren't there for a fight, they were there to set a trap. Also, RORY! And Rory NO! I think that hurts the most out of everything that was thrown into that episode. Bringing Rory back was expected, but not to have him be a betrayer, it just breaks my Wholigan heart.

I feel like rewatching all of the episodes up to now because I feel like there was so much that I missed the first time around, and now I have all the time in the world to re-investigate this new universe that Moffat's created. It goes without saying that the next episode can not come soon enough, OMG, I need it to be 06 26 2010 already!
